This town is filled with hate for other races They judge people by the color of their faces. The whole town is divided by blacks and whites Unfortunately, blacks have to fight for their rights. They refuse to even share a waiting room Not even water fountains, you can assume. They will never even try to get along Although the idea may be extremely wrong. Some businesses don’t serve blacks When one walks in, they’ll just turn their backs. Maybe one day all the racism will lift. Maybe one day all the hate will drift.
The town drowns in hate for blacks
They feel like they are under attack.
Everything is separated among blacks and whites
Negro’s have little rights.
Fighting to have a better life
People carry around knifes.
The crops run a drought,
And families move out.
The houses are crammed with family members,
And everyone still remembers.
Many houses are without doors,
Allowing wind to go through with a roar. By Joshua B
